Hyme’s solution converts affordable renewables into high-temperature, decarbonised steam around the clock. The technology is built for industries that depend on large-scale heat. Their solution reduces emissions, lowers costs, and boosts efficiency.
Hyme was established in 2021, as a spinoff company from Seaborg Technologies’ extensive research work on molten salts and the new insights on sodium hydroxide chemistry. The years of previous research into the unique thermal properties of molten hydroxides led them to develop a breakthrough salt treatment system — with strong potential within the sustainable thermal energy storage market.
Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, they work across three dedicated spaces — a modern office, a chemistry research lab, and a prototyping and testing facility where Hyme bring their ideas to life. In addition, Hyme operate a demonstrator plant in Esbjerg, Denmark.
